Role Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lectures, developing academic programmes, supporting research initiatives, and mentoring students. The role also involves collaboration with colleagues on curriculum review, research publications, and consultancy projects.

Main Responsibilities

  • Teach hospitality management courses as assigned by the department

  • Plan and deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions

  • Develop and update course content and learning materials

  • Support curriculum development and new programme design

  • Conduct academic research and prepare grant proposals

  • Participate in consultancy and industry engagement initiatives

  • Present research papers at conferences and academic forums

  • Publish research findings and contribute to knowledge dissemination

  • Mentor students and staff in academic and career development

  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by university management

Minimum Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Hospitality Management

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or Hospitality & Tourism Management

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional and academic experience

  • Demonstrated experience in university teaching and research

  • Practical knowledge of restaurant and kitchen operations

  • Strong communication skills and passion for student-centered learning
