Role Purpose
The position supports the Manager – Learning in executing learning and development strategies, leadership programs, and employee engagement initiatives. The goal is to enhance staff capability, support talent growth, and ensure training solutions align with the Bank’s business objectives.
Core Duties & Responsibilities
Training Design & Implementation
-
Conduct training needs analysis in collaboration with team leaders and department heads.

Design and roll out impactful training and development programs.

Develop digital learning materials for the Bank’s e-learning platform.
Monitoring & Reporting
-
Track training implementation against approved plans and budgets.

Evaluate training effectiveness using structured tools and performance metrics.

Prepare monthly reports highlighting outcomes, ROI, and improvement areas.
Learning Culture & Engagement
-
Promote adoption of e-learning and continuous professional development.

Coordinate staff engagement and team-building activities.

Support leadership development and performance management initiatives.
Compliance & Partnerships
-
Liaise with training providers, regulatory bodies, and HR service partners including NITA and CBK.

Ensure all learning programs meet regulatory and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
Academic & Professional
-
Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related discipline
-
CHRPK or Higher Diploma in HR
-
CPLP certification is an added advantage

Active membership in an HR professional body
Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ HR experience, preferably in banking or financial services

Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills

Ability to research, evaluate, and implement training solutions

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
