CIC Insurance Hiring: Employee Relations and Wellness Manager

CIC Insurance Group is offering an exciting leadership opportunity for a Employee Relations and Wellness Manager to strengthen workplace culture, employee wellbeing, and trust across the organization. This role blends proactive ER management with wellness strategy to deliver a holistic employee experience.

Role Purpose

The role focuses on building a respectful, inclusive, and resilient workplace by integrating employee relations best practices with wellness and culture initiatives that align with CIC’s values and people strategy.


Key Areas of Responsibility

Employee Relations Leadership

  • Implement a group-wide ER strategy that promotes fairness, accountability, and engagement.

  • Manage complex ER cases, including grievances and disciplinary matters.

  • Ensure ER practices are consistent across markets and aligned with governance requirements.

  • Analyze ER trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.

  • Maintain confidentiality and transparency throughout grievance processes.

  • Strengthen psychological safety through clear communication and feedback mechanisms.

Wellness Strategy & Integration

  • Lead deployment of a holistic wellness framework.

  • Oversee wellness initiatives covering mental, emotional, and physical health.

  • Monitor wellness data and use insights to refine programs.

  • Promote resilience, stress management, and mental health awareness across the workforce.

  • Align wellness insights with employee relations and people strategies.

Culture & Employee Experience

  • Support culture integration and values-driven initiatives.

  • Contribute to employee experience programs and behavior change strategies.

  • Embed DEI principles in all ER and wellness initiatives.

  • Collaborate with People & Culture leaders to advance inclusive and flexible work environments.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.

  • Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in HR, including at least 3 years in Employee Relations.

  • Demonstrated experience in wellness program design and ER framework implementation.

  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management.
