In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing information security strategies that protect Serena Hotels’ digital infrastructure. Your daily tasks will include monitoring network and server security, managing firewalls and patching processes, and tracking emerging cybersecurity threats. You will also play a hands-on role in securing e-commerce platforms and enhancing the security of legacy systems.
The Information Security Officer will work closely with internal IT teams to ensure that ICT policies and standards are implemented effectively across all sites. Additionally, you will oversee security incident reporting, conduct risk assessments, and ensure that disaster recovery and business continuity plans remain current and effective.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, along with recognized security certifications such as CISSP or CISM. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role is required. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and deep knowledge of information security best practices, including ISO 27000 standards.
