Role Overview
Although titled as a frontend role, this position blends both frontend and backend thinking—especially on the backend engineering side. The engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining high-performance backend services using Java and frameworks such as Spring Boot. The ideal candidate should be able to take charge of major projects with minimal supervision.
You’ll also be involved in refactoring existing services, improving maintainability, and ensuring the entire system can scale as demand grows. The role offers plenty of opportunities to contribute to Zeraki’s technical standards and participate in architectural decision-making.
Ensuring System Reliability
A key part of this role involves supporting production environments. You’ll work closely with the team to:

Required Experience & Skills
Zeraki is seeking candidates with:

3–5+ years of experience in Java backend development

Advanced knowledge of Spring Boot and RESTful/microservices architecture

Strong grasp of SQL and NoSQL databases
