The Opportunity

As KWT’s Executive Director, you will provide visionary leadership, overseeing all programs, partnerships, and strategic initiatives. You’ll drive growth, build meaningful collaborations, and strengthen the organization’s reputation as a leading force in predator conservation across Africa.

Your Key Duties

  • Lead the execution of KWT’s Strategic Plan and guide organizational growth.

  • Mobilize funding from global donors, foundations, and corporates.

  • Represent KWT in government, conservation, and donor engagements.

  • Support community-led initiatives that promote coexistence and sustainable livelihoods.

  • Build networks of emerging conservation leaders across Kenya.

  • Maintain transparency, financial integrity, and governance excellence.

  • Oversee and inspire a team of passionate professionals based in Nairobi and the Mara.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree in Leadership, Conservation, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years’ senior-level experience in conservation or environmental management.

  • Proven fundraising success and experience managing complex partnerships.

  • Deep understanding of Kenya’s wildlife and ecological challenges.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and advocacy abilities.
