You’ll be at the forefront of expanding DHL’s customer base by targeting shipments that range from 30 kg to 1000 kg, a segment that requires precision, reliability, and specialized logistics expertise.


Your Core Responsibilities

🔸 1. Acquiring New Business

As a New Business Hunter, you will:

  • Prospect and engage potential customers

  • Build a strong sales pipeline

  • Conduct logistics needs analysis

  • Craft tailored DHL Express solutions

  • Negotiate and secure new accounts

  • Oversee the smooth onboarding of customers

You’ll collaborate with local sales teams to ensure each acquired client is set up for long-term success.

You’ll continuously monitor:

  • Market movements

  • High-opportunity sectors like tech, healthcare, industrial, and manufacturing

  • Competing logistics strategies

Your insights will help DHL adjust pricing, improve solutions, and maintain competitive advantage.


🔸 3. Strengthening Customer Relationships

This role relies heavily on trust-building. You’ll develop relationships with decision-makers, use your existing network to identify opportunities, and support customers during the transition to account management.


🔸 4. Sales Reporting & Performance

To stay aligned with company goals, you will:

  • Meet revenue and profitability targets

  • Maintain accurate CRM entries

  • Submit timely sales forecasts and pipeline updates


Who DHL Is Looking For

✔ Education

A bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Sales, or a related field.

✔ Professional Experience

  • 3–5 years in B2B sales

  • Proven track record of winning new accounts

  • Experience with express logistics or air freight preferred

  • Familiarity with heavy-weight shipping solutions is a big advantage

✔ Industry Knowledge

Understanding of customs, cross-border shipping, and international freight is essential for success in this role.
