About the Role
The consultant will work closely with the Finance and Economy Programme Lead to design a Finance Strategy Course. This course will serve as a key training tool for professionals and institutions engaged in urban financial planning.

Crafting a comprehensive course outline aligned with UN-Habitat’s mission.

Writing six chapters that cover everything from corporate finance and capital structure to investment strategy and risk management.

Developing interactive assignments and simulations that bring real-world financial challenges into the classroom.
This position calls for an innovative thinker with a balance of analytical skills and creativity — someone who can translate complex financial models into engaging, learner-friendly content.
Who Can Apply
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Urban Planning, Development Studies, Public Policy, or a related field, with at least two years of professional experience in urban development, public finance, or local economic strategy.
