Absa Bank Limited is expanding its internal audit team and inviting qualified professionals to apply for the role of Internal Audit Manager in Nairobi. Role Overview
The Internal Audit Manager will support Absa’s mission of maintaining the highest standards of governance and accountability. You will design and execute audit programs, analyze risk controls, and provide actionable recommendations to strengthen the organization’s operations.

Responsibilities
Audit Delivery

Conduct and manage audit engagements based on Absa’s audit methodology and group standards.

Assess business risks and determine the adequacy of internal controls.

Support data analytics and automation initiatives within the audit function.
Team & Knowledge Management

Mentor and guide junior auditors, ensuring consistent application of quality standards.

Share knowledge and promote continuous learning within the audit department.
Reporting & Relationship Management

Prepare audit observations and concise reports highlighting findings and recommendations.

Collaborate with senior stakeholders to drive timely implementation of corrective actions.

Participate in governance meetings and support management with audit insights.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Informatics, or Statistics.

CIA, CPA, or ACCA certification is an added advantage.

Minimum 6 years of experience in auditing or related fields, with at least 4 in risk-based auditing.

Proficiency in data analytics and audit software.

Excellent report writing and communication skills.
