Nova Pioneer is recruiting an experienced Kenya Talent Lead to spearhead human resources strategy and execution across its Kenyan campuses. This role offers an opportunity to shape people systems, build strong teams, and support a mission-driven education organization.
Position Summary
The Kenya Talent Lead will oversee the full employee lifecycle—from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, employee relations, and payroll. Working closely with regional and global teams, the role ensures consistency, compliance, and continuous improvement in HR practices.
Primary Responsibilities

Drive strategic recruitment and workforce planning across campuses

Build and optimize hiring processes, selection tools, and onboarding experiences

Strengthen Nova Pioneer’s employer brand and candidate engagement

Ensure full compliance with Kenyan labour laws and statutory institutions

Lead employee relations processes, including disciplinary hearings and litigation support

Partner with leaders on performance management and professional development

Oversee payroll administration, compensation benchmarking, and benefits programs

Coordinate wellness, medical, and employee engagement initiatives

Lead, mentor, and develop the Talent team in Kenya

Support HR budgeting, audits, and leadership offsite planning
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Master’s degree in HR, Business, or Management preferred

5–7 years of experience in recruitment and HR leadership

Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills

High attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects
