ANT Automotive Logistics has built a strong presence in East Africa, supporting the movement of brand-new vehicles from the port of Mombasa to various destinations across Kenya and Uganda. Their integrated service delivery covers everything from customs clearance to inland transport, storage, pre-delivery inspection, and final delivery. Your Role: Driving Efficient Outbound Logistics
The successful candidate will report to the General Manager at ANT and take charge of operational excellence at the GLC as well as all CFAO-related logistics activities. This role goes beyond standard management duties—it requires strategic thinking, coordination, and hands-on leadership.
Key Areas of Responsibility
1. Operational Leadership

Lead and supervise the outbound logistics team.

Manage daily operations at the GLC and CFAO-linked sites to ensure efficiency and accountability.
2. Process Improvement

Strengthen logistical structures by developing standardized operational procedures.

Ensure teams have the right tools, training, and operational capacity needed to deliver optimal results.
3. Coordination & Service Delivery
-
Assist in planning and executing all operational requirements for customer orders.

Ensure seamless coordination among ANT operators handling shipments.

Monitor service quality expectations for both internal and external clients.

Prepare accurate operational reports—daily, weekly, and monthly.

Collaborate with approved suppliers to ensure timely service delivery.
4. Documentation & File Control

Maintain well-organized documentation for all customer files in physical and digital formats.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, internal policies, and confidentiality standards.

Address queries from customers and assist with credit control processes.
5. Invoice Verification & Cost Management

Receive and verify invoices from various logistics partners including warehouses, ports, and transport companies.

Validate invoices using tariff cards or purchase orders.

Ensure all service invoices are accurate before approval.
6. Shipment Tracking & Logistics Alignment

Plan and align logistics priorities with customer expectations.

Track goods under clearance, arriving shipments, and vehicles in bonded warehouses.
7. Reporting Excellence

Deliver timely and detailed periodic reports to support business decision-making.
