LG Electronics Africa is looking for a talented Demand Planner to join its Nairobi team. This role is perfect for a professional who thrives in forecasting, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
The Demand Planner will work closely with business units to ensure product supply aligns with market demand while maintaining optimal stock levels. You will play a critical role in supporting sales, procurement, and operations teams through accurate forecasts and effective supply planning.
Key Responsibilities

Analyze historical sell-in and sell-out data to align demand with market conditions.

Maintain safety stock levels and adjust supply plans to prevent stockouts.

Convert forecasted volumes into procurement orders and troubleshoot supply disruptions.

Prepare and present sales and operations reports for business performance tracking.

Operate ERP systems (SAP, Oracle JD Edwards, Manugistics) to manage planning processes.

Configure system parameters including lead times, safety stock, and end-of-life (EOL) timing.

Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment of demand, supply, and sales goals.
What You Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial Engineering.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in product-level forecasting or supply planning in global sourcing.

Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong analytical skills, integrity, and ability to work under urgency.
