This role is part of a broader initiative to enhance educational opportunities for Deaf students, promote inclusion, and strengthen community involvement. Volunteers will collaborate with teachers, families, and local institutions to create sustainable change.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach Deaf students, focusing on Kenyan Sign Language, literacy, and numeracy.

Train and mentor teachers through structured professional communities.

Engage parents and caregivers in supporting Deaf learners.

Develop and adapt accessible learning resources.

Build students’ confidence to protect themselves from social and health risks.
Candidate Requirements:

Degree in Special Education, Education, or related field.

OR degree in any discipline plus special education certification.

OR a minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience working with persons with disabilities.
